Meet PressReady Studio: Print-Ready Artwork for POD Sellers
PressReady Studio is a small design studio that creates print-ready t-shirt artwork for print-on-demand sellers, apparel brands and independent shops. This is our first post, so here is who we are, what we make and how we work.
Why we started
Our background is in retail and online marketplaces. We have spent years running stores and listings on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and Shopify, and one problem kept coming up: finding artwork that is actually ready for production. Too many designs arrive at the wrong size, with messy edges, unclear licensing or text that could get a listing taken down.
PressReady Studio is our answer to that. We want to be the place where a seller can pick a design, check the license, download the file and send it straight to the printer.
What you get with every design
- Production-size files: high-resolution PNG, typically 4500 × 5400 px at 300 DPI, which fits the standard print area used by most print-on-demand platforms.
- Transparent background: ready for DTG, DTF, screen printing and print-on-demand.
- Commercial license: print the design on shirts, hoodies and other products and sell them in your own store or on platforms like Etsy, Printful and Printify. Reselling or sharing the digital file itself is not allowed. The full terms are on our Terms & Conditions page.
How we build a collection
Every design goes through the same steps before it reaches the store:
- Idea and research. We look at what buyers in the US market are searching for around each holiday and niche, and we drop ideas that are already crowded.
- Trademark pre-check. Slogans are checked against the USPTO trademark database before a design is produced. We avoid movie quotes, song lyrics and brand references, because those are the fastest way to get a marketplace listing removed.
- Artwork in-house. Each design is drawn and prepared by our studio at full print size.
What we are working on
Our collections follow the US retail calendar, so sellers can list designs early enough for each season:
- Seasonal: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas first, followed by Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, the 4th of July, Back to School and Graduation.
- Year-round: designs for professions such as nurses, teachers and electricians, and for hobbies such as fishing, hunting and camping. These sell in every month, not only around a holiday.
The first design in the Halloween 2026 collection is Candy Audit in Progress: a grumpy little ghost with a clipboard, checking every piece of the trick-or-treat haul. You can see a preview on our home page.
Launching soon
